Blaze hits Pasig residential area.
An early morning fire hit a residential area along Nagpayong St., Barangay Pinagbuhatan in Pasig City. According to the BFP, the fire started at 5:36 a.m. and was declared under control at 6:35 a.m. The fire was extinguished at 10:09 a.m. despite the difficulty encountered by the firefighters in putting out the fire as one of the affected properties contained tires and clothing materials.

The BFP brought its fire safety advocacy campaign inside the modernized jeepneys as one of the initiatives in the local observance of Fire Prevention Month this March.
